Goodbye Summer…

*Warning A LOT of Pictures šŸ™‚ *

Hey Guys!

Summer is officially over and Fall is here! I wanted to share some of my favorite summer moments with you guys.

I hope you like it šŸ™‚

Jade'sbday

This summer I attended Bun B & Kirko Bangz “The Trillest Tour,” at The Loft with my friend Marcella. If you knew Marcella, you would know she is madly in

love with Kirko Bangz so needless to say, she was all smiles the whole ride downtown Lol.

Ā My outfit to the concert. ^_^ Crop Top & High Waisted Mustard Pants from GoJane.com

The show was great! Bun B performed his classic UGK and Kirko performed a couple tracks from his mixtape Progression 4. Even Big KRIT made a surprised appearance and performed Country Sh*t. Everyone went CRAZY! But in a good way.

Once the show was over, fans got the opportunity to take pictures with Bun B and Kirko Bangz. With 14% battery life left, we successfully took pictures with Kirko. Marcella could not stop smiling Lol! Once we got to Bun B, battery went to 1% then died. Womp..womp..womp 😦

The next day after the concert, I was invited as a media representative for Deviate Publishing to August Alsina’s private Album Release Party for Testimony at Cream Ultra Lounge hosted by V103 very own, Greg Street.

I even got to take a picture with him :D. My jacket is all messed up but did not care in that moment lol. Ā I congratulated him on new his album and wished him much success.Ā He’s a very down to earth, humble guy.

Ā Jazzy13bday

Ā A Summer milestone. My beautiful niece Jasmine is now 13 years old. Ā *Puts on old accent* I remember when she was 4 days old, now she’s a teenager. Where did the time go?!?! 😄

Here’s Jazzy’s cute little cake from Publix, with a singing candle on the top (which could NOT stop singing, and kept singing after we smashed it a few times AND after we threw it away hours later smh).

Another milestone, my best friend Kay graduated College and her boyfriend proposes the day after her graduation. Guess who’s going to be a brides maid šŸ˜‰

Last, but certainly not least, I got promoted. My old job bought me cake on my last week before my departure to new horizons. It was sad to see everyone go.

The Recap: The Deshai Cole Brand and Houston-based EA Events Celebrates Women Empowerment With 2nd Annual Ultimate Girl’s Festival In Atlanta!

ugf flierFrom Friday March 14th through Saturday March 15th, radio personality and sex/relationship extraordinaire Deshai Cole collaborates with TV One’s R&B Diva star Keke Wyatt, Harold ā€œHouseā€ Moore of VH-1’s Single Ladies and Celebrity Hair Stylist Shekinah Jo for her second annual Ultimate Girls Festival. The Ultimate Girls Festival was in full effect Friday evening as Deshai hosted an exciting networking event at Gocha Salon called ā€œConversations & Cocktailsā€ with lifestyle blogger Perez. Attendees enjoyed a fun filled evening of dancing, mingling, adult games, and complimentary cocktails provided by Smoke Liqueur. After the mixer was the after party at Suede Tapas Lounge.

AtmosphereĀ Saturday morning at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center, guests were in for a real treat as they indulged in a delicious catered breakfast and were later acquainted by Keynote speaker, award-winning lifestyle and technology blogger Courtney Luv as she emphasized the importance of living with a purpose and passion. The rest of the morning consisted of break out sessions that covered topics in health, fitness, looking good and bringing thrill and excitement in the bedroom.

Once the break out sessions were done, VH-1’s Family Hustle castmate and celebrity hair stylist Shekinah Jo and Shaunell Robinson, founder of the infamous high-end beauty brand Conceited Inc, united with a panel of female business owners to educate guests on creating a business and how to excel in your industry with the ā€œSo You Want To Be A Bossā€ panel.

Notable panelists on the male panel included Harold House Moore, Omar Slim White, DJ FadelfĀ Soon after, an all male panel entitled ā€œWhat Men Really Thinkā€ featured Harold ā€œHouseā€ Moore of VH1-’s Single Ladies, Omar ā€œSlimā€ White, and DJ Fadelf gave women a male perspective on how to retain a healthy relationship and what men really want.

Panel Discussions (2)Ā The enthusiastic guests asked the panel many interesting questions like ā€œis it ok to sleep with someone the first night?ā€ ā€œHow do you know if you have the right person?ā€ as well as addressed trust issues in relationships. Each panelist addressed each question with their own perspective and guests were enlighten to know that their responses did not invoke the typical male stereotype and put a lot of minds at ease.

Later on that evening, the festivities commenced at 595 North Event Center where attendees networked, competed for cash prizes and enjoyed a show from TV One’s R&B Divas castmate KeKe Wyatt. All proceeds were donated to The Center for Black Women’s Wellness, Inc.
