The reason of admiration of these creams is the difference they create on your skin. First of all BB creams hit the market and then came CC creams. DD creams were the last among these three. A Night Of Pampering At Atlanta Pampered Ladies’ “A Beautiful You” Expo

On Friday, February 21st, I attended Atlanta Pampered Ladies event located in in the very elegant Brawner Hall in Smyrna, Georgia entitled “A Beautiful You.” The expo was designed to give back to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation while providing the time for women to treat themselves to luxurious spa treatments, shop their heart away and receive complimentary food and refreshments from Edible Endeavors and Sparkling Ice!

Sparkling Ice is a zero calorie beverage with sparkling mountain spring water, vitamins, antioxidants and natural fruit juices! A great alternative to drinking soda. They had a variety of flavors for attendees to try such as Coconut Pineapple, Lemon Lime, Kiwi Strawberry, Orange Mango, Pomegranate Blueberry, Pink Grapefruit, Black Raspberry, Crisp Apple and Peach Nectarine. I absolutely LOVED the Kiwi Strawberry and gave my Mother the Orange Mango (which she adored 🙂 ).

Attendees also received a variety of services such as spa treatments, makeovers, hair styling, as well as beauty and fashion shopping from the following vendors: Treasures, Stella & Dot, AMRII, ROC HOUSE Women’s Fitness Spa, Mary Kay Cosmetics, My MICHE, Thirty-one, My Loveable Legs, Beau & Luxey, Pure Romance, Pink Zebra, It Works!, American Laser Skincare, AVON, Aflac, Western & Southern Life, and PLASTIKOS Med Spa.

Skincare brands that caught my immediate attention: AMRII and Beau & Luxey. Both brands presented quality skincare products that were natural, smelled heavenly and felt WONDERFUL on the skin! I received product samples from both brands so a product review is on its way 😉

If you are into candles and in-scents like I am check out Pink Zebra. The scents were AMAZING! And the company promises a longer burning time than the average candle by approx. 30%.

Attendees also received the chance to attend sexy chair dancing classes and receive pole lessons from Pole La Teaz. Guests participate in raffle contests for a chance to win prizes and take fun photos at the Party Time Mugshots Photo booth rental.

Overall, Atlanta Pampered Ladies “A Beautiful You” event was absolutely AMAZING and I am thankful to have met some wonderful women! But enough talking enjoy rest of the pictures! 🙂

How I Spent My V-Day Weekend!!

On Saturday, February 15, My best friend Kadian and I had the pleasure of being invited as guests to Suite Brigitte and day of pampering event entitled “Love Thy Neighbor” at the Shoe Lounge boutique in Atlanta. This event was designed to benefit the young female/youth empowerment program while providing an afternoon of indulgence for guests. The event also provided the perfect opportunity for Shoe Lounge to showcase their latest fashion trends to attendees.

The event began at 2PM but Kadian and I did not arrived until 3PM due to my “misplacement” of my car keys (lol). This was not my first time at the Shoe Lounge and I could not help but browse around the beautiful selection of shoes on display. Once me and Kadian went upstairs, we were greeted by Bridgette of Suite Bridgette, independent beauty consultant Tina Broughton, and Jewelry Designer Avanti Lemons.

The guests and I had the pleasure of receiving complimentary cupcakes and drinks, satin hand treatments, energy work, aromatherapy, as well as mini makeovers from Tina Broughton using Mary Kay Cosmetics. The cupcakes were made by a local vendor (unfortunately I didn’t get the name) and were so delicious! I had to stop myself from eating too many (lol). I absolutely enjoyed the Mary Kay products Tina used I just wish I could have remembered what foundation color I was 😦 .Avanti Lemons showcased her latest creations along side her mentor for guests to purchase.

As 4:30 rolled around, all guests and vendors (including Kadian and I) participated in a ticket raffle to potentially win gift bags filled with goodies from Mary Kay Cosmetics. I waited anxiously as the numbers were being called out. A total of three numbers were called and none were mine 😦 Kadian won a gift bag of goodies which she proudly threw in my face. She got the evil eye from me for the rest of the evening lol. (Don’t mind us we can get competitive). The event wrapped up around 5PM. We made our goodbyes but NOT before I could take a cupcake to go lol. Overall,I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the lovely set of ladies I got to mingle with.
